In a Classic Hypnobirthing group you will meet other London Hypnobirthing parents - they probably have a similar outlook on birth and babies to your own.
Together in a small, friendly group you will learn how to have a calm, happy birthing over four evening sessions or two weekend days.
Evening courses take place in my home in London W12. You will be sitting on comfortable sofas and chairs, with snacks and drinks to keep you going. The course is practical, thorough and no-nonsense.
Weekend courses take place at the Stepping Stones Nursery, Gayford Road, London W12, a bright and airy venue with facilities for teas and coffees, very close to the shops and cafes of Askew Road.
This is hypnotherapy but not as you’ve seen it on TV. I won’t be asking you to cluck like a chicken or drink a pint of vinegar, but I will be setting out for you what you really need to know about your body’s amazing powers to birth and what your partner can reasonably hope to do to help you.
Your course fee entitles you to an optional Tuesday morning Birth Ready session which I recommend is taken after 36 weeks pregnancy.
I have developed my Hypnobirthing course over years of working with expectant couples in London. I drawn on my experience as a birth doula in local hospitals, as a home birth group co-ordinator, antenatal teacher as well as my training in a range of Hypnobirthing approaches.
Parking is easy and Shepherds Bush Tube is 15 minutes walk, 5 minutes by bus.

CLASSIC HYPNOBIRTHING CLASS “EXTRA” Classic Hypnobirthing group for the first 3 sessions, then the 4th session by private arrangement on your own, in your own home.
CLASSIC HYPNOBIRTHING WEEKEND COURSE. Twelve hours over two days. The £250 fee includes The Hypnobirthing Book by Katharine Graves, Colours and Calmness CD, all handouts and scripts, and light refreshments.
You will be working alongside other London couples whose outlook on childbirth is likely to be close to yours, so bring pillows, and prepare to relax and make friends.
If booking an evening course, please be advised that I have two small, friendly, short-haired cats and a small, friendly cockapoo-labradoodle crossbreed dog. I do try to keep them out of the room – but they are not 100% obedient.
